It's not every day that a girl like me gets a chance to chat with one of the greatest in the photography industry! A couple of weeks ago I had the great opportunity to have lunch with and learn from celebrity wedding photographer Joe Buissink. This awesomely talented man has photographed celebrity brides such as Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, and Christina Applegate. I am still on cloud nine at the fact that I was allowed this opportunity.
As I was sitting with Joe, I almost felt bad because I was asking him a rapid fire of questions. For a moment I told myself "shut up and let this man eat already!" I then remembered that I may never have this type of opportunity again so I simply slowed down the question asking a bit.
One of the things that I found most admirable was how humble and sincere he was. I mean here I am sitting across from a man that charges $30,000 for a wedding yet he is willing to happily sit and share his knowledge with me just because. I found his story to be inspiring and after talking with him, I was able to see why and how he photographs with such passion.
Again, all I can say is that I absolutely LOVE this photography journey I am on and I pray that it continues to travel in the same upward path. Thank you for reading, and as always, stay inspired!
