2012 Wedding Season

Wedding season has officially begun for me and I could not be happier! I love being able to enjoy special days such as weddings with my clients. By the time the big day rolls around I have usually formed more of a friendship with my couples rather than a working relationship. I first meet Niyoka and Craig in February after shooting their engagement photos. After months of communicating about their wedding day, I have grown to truly love this couple and their playful spirit! I am so very happy for the new Mr. and Mrs. Lovings and may God continue to bless your union!

Lunch with Joe

It's not every day that a girl like me gets a chance to chat with one of the greatest in the photography industry! A couple of weeks ago I had the great opportunity to have lunch with and learn from celebrity wedding photographer Joe Buissink. This awesomely talented man has photographed celebrity brides such as Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, and Christina Applegate. I am still on cloud nine at the fact that I was allowed this opportunity. As I was sitting with Joe, I almost felt bad because I was asking him a rapid fire of questions. For a moment I told myself "shut up and let this man eat already!" I then remembered that I may never have this type of opportunity again so I simply slowed down the question asking a bit. One of the things that I found most admirable was how humble and sincere he was. I mean here I am sitting across from a man that charges $30,000 for a wedding yet he is willing to happily sit and share his knowledge with me just because. I found his story to be inspiring and after talking with him, I was able to see why and how he photographs with such passion. Again, all I can say is that I absolutely LOVE this photography journey I am on and I pray that it continues to travel in the same upward path. Thank you for reading, and as always, stay inspired!

Indiana Engagement Session

Engagement sessions are so much fun because it allows me to interact and learn more about my clients. These sessions also allow couples to get used to me and my shooting style. I had a blast photographing Edward ("toot") and Seianna this past weekend. I had so many ideas, roof tops, city streets, etc... and they were game for it all! High School Senior Photography

I absolutely LOVE working with high school seniors because it gives me a chance to showcase my edgy creative side. If I could describe my style for high school senior photography in three words they would be fun, fashionable,and funky flava. (ok I cheated a little with four words... lol) Sessions start with professional make-up application and then the senior and I visit various out door locations throughout the city. I like to have a mix of both nice and pretty and funky and edgy. The session then ends with formal head shots back in the studio. Here are some of my favorites from my latest sessions. Happy Birthday Moriah

My how time flies! My little cuddle bug has turned one already! I have enjoyed watching her grow with her two big sisters over the past year. The only favor I ask of you Moriah, is that you slow down a bit so mama can enjoy this time a lil longer! Hugs and Kisses birthday girl!
